Fantasticly delicious, incredibly fresh seafood. We tried the tuna, swordfish, rockfish, class and scallops - all were amazingly fresh. Service was top notch - very impressive and highly recommended.

Had a very unique first and only visit. Went in with my two 8 year old twins and the person was assisting another customer. Playing through the speaker or from a tv loudly was a profanity laced cartoon/movie. The profanity wasn’t just one off but constant. This continued for a solid minute or two with no reaction from the worker. I turned around and left before she was done assisting the other customer in the market.

Bought fresh oysters to make oyster stew. They were very fresh and tasty. Also bought crab cakes. They were absolutely delicious.

Have purchased fish, dips from this locally owned shop many times. Just tried 2 dips over weekend, whitefish dip perfect combo of fish mayo , Rockfish dip loved consistently however too heavy on pepper taste overpowered rockfish taste otherwise good . Owner (young) knows his customers. Lucky to have fresh fish so close to our home. Always buy local when possible is my motto. Welton's will not disappoint.

They had the crab legs we were looking for and after returning to North Carolina, the family demolished them lol! Price was competitive for the season. Can be a little tricky finding the spot so use your gps and drive slow. Gave them 4 stars because we had to wait until owner stopped gabbing with a customer he’d already served and us waiting for like 15 minutes for them to be done. Customer service could be better.
